THE KULA FIRE RESTORATION PROJECT

On August 8, 2023, over 300 acres of land burned in the Kula wildfire, destabilizing the once-forested landscape in our neighborhood. The communities living in and downslope of the burned area are now at risk of a major erosion event, should we experience a storm.

We are in urgent need of your support to stabilize the landscape now. Please make a gift today to ensure we can keep boots on the ground in this recovery.

Kula Community Watershed Alliance’s Kula Fire Restoration Project is a survivor-led effort to recover, restore, and revive a resilient, native landscape that can to emerge from the ashes with your support. This will take years, and significant funding, and our community is committed to see this through. Mahalo nui for helping us take the first steps toward this vision.
